Thankful Thursday

This week, I'm thankful for:

~no dental problems for our baby Tyson after a little scare

~a clean bill of health after Tyler's 2-year check-up

~the start of a new summer volleyball season

~a couple of full nights of sleep for Tyson

~healthy kids

~sunshine and beautiful weather

~a great dinner/night out with great friends

Thankful Thursday

I think we're past the icky sickiness.  We've all had it now, except for Mike.  And if he gets it?  Well, he's on his own.  I'm d-o-n-e wiping butts, giving baths, and cleaning up vomit.  Done I tell you.  Now, if only I could get my two-teething babies to sleep through the night, I'd be golden. 

So, after all of the crap we've been hit with this week, I'm thankful for:

**a hubby who is able to clean up vomit without vomiting himself (this can be a struggle for me)

**a Grammy and a Grandpa who made themselves available to take care of sick kids when they couldn't go to daycare

**a fun outing with Leah, Rhonda and the girls at Bounce Depot and La Casita (until the dreaded puking incident, that is)

**an appointment after school today to get my hair did

**a sister-in-law who is willing to pick my boys up from daycare and help watch them so that I can get my hair did, and work tonight

*Thankful Thursday*

This week, I'm thankful for:

{a friend's baby doing well, after a VERY scary start to life}

{time (last week) for an appointment and errands with just Tyler(and the patience to survive the afternoon)}

{one last snow day(hopefully) for the winter last week}

{my big boys being "responsible" enough to play outside the kitchen window by themselves while I make supper}

{a "snow castle" built by Kayden and Daddy}

{the start of Twins season!}

{melting snow}

{enough Pampers rewards points to "buy" Tyler's birthday present}

This week, I'm thankful for:

~~a great girl's weekend away, and the fact that I was able to get lots of scrapping done(I'm by no means caught up,but I did get a lot done)

~~a clean bill of health for Kayden at his *tear* FOUR year well child check *sniffle*

~~a referral back to the ENT for Tyson to see his ear surgeon so that we can hopefully finally get his ears figured out!

~~sunshine and warm temperatures

~~wet--I mean really wet, like pour the water out, too wet for the boot dryer wet--boots after daycare yesterday because Kayden had so much fun playing outside, splashing in the puddles at daycare 

~~being able to send Kayden and Tyler downstairs by themselves to play/watch a movie while I make supper the past few nights. It's been so peaceful!

~~Tyson's little semi-natural mo-hawk (I will have to post pictures of this)

~~Kodak fixing my piece of crap camera for FREE!  Hopefully eliminating the "piece of crap" part of it's title. 

Thankful Thursday

This week I'm thankful for:

***An upcoming girls weekend!  Scrapbooking, chatting, eating, laughing, eating....can't wait!

***A Grandma, a Grammy, and a Daddy who were able to work watching my boys this week into their schedules.  

***A husband who hasn't complained once about me leaving for the weekend

***Will power and a little self discipline (which I normally lack)which have helped me eat better, and eat less over the past two weeks.

***An afternoon trip ALONE to Crafts Direct and Target---lovely, I tell you.  Lovely.  

***Chubby baby giggles

***One and a half more months of bottles in my house!  I've been mixing/washing bottles for two straight years!

This week I'm thankful for:

....Girl Scout cookies!

....a little boy turned big boy thanks to his 1st haircut!

....no trips to the clinic

....a clean car, thanks to my hubby(even if the complained the whole time about how messy it was---when will he understand that I chauffeur 3 kids around 5 to 7 days a week????)

....a predicted warm up from these frigid Minnesota temperatures(this morning, my car  thermometer read -20)

....Monday night volleyball with a great group of girls

....dinner out with the girls

....Auntie Mazih's basketball games

....the hil-a-ri-ous things that come from the mouth of an almost four year old and almost 2 year old!

**kids who seem to be on the up-swing of recent illnesses

**a weekend ahead with no major plans, which means time to get my house back in order

This week I'm thankful for:

*SLEEP!

*my parents and the fact that they kept Kayden and Tyler overnight for me twice last weekend so that I could get Tyson's sleep schedule situated

*my wonderful daycare--it's so nice to have a place where I can take my kids every day and not have to worry about them for a second!

*Dr. Pepper

*a week with ZERO trips to any clinic or doctor's office

*orajel--because Tyler is working really hard at getting those two-year molars!

*fleece--because it's flippin' cold around here!

*a weekend at home

Thankful Thursday

I am so very Thankful for:

*a pediatrician that listens to me

*a mom that takes off work to go with me to take all three boys to the clinic

*a husband who finally agreed to get a REAL Christmas tree

*10 sick days per school year---although, they are disappearing fast!

*a girls-only shopping day

*my first snow day of the 2010-2011 school year

*a sister-in-law who is willing to watch one, two, or all three of my boys when I need her

*Target gift cards

~nights with at least 6 straight hours of sleep

~snowdays (for those of you who don't live here, when there's LOTS of snow---I don't have to work!  When the weather's bad enough, they cancel school.  This usually happens once or twice a year).
