Not-Me-Monday

A few of the things I DID NOT do in the past week:

• I DID NOT put my eye drops in Tyson's ears instead of his ear drops and if I would have done this, it WOULD NOT have been my husband's fault.  
• I DID NOT wake my mom up at 1:00 a.m. on Friday night because Tyler puked in his bed, and I didn't know what to do when it came to cleaning up the mess.
• I DID NOT wake up this morning to two extra little bodies in my bed because I was too tired to work hard enough to get them back in their own beds after they woke up at 3:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.  
• I DID NOT start a  new habit of bribing Kayden with gum so that he'll go potty by himself, without my help.

"Not-Me-Monday"

The things I did not do in the past few weeks...

1.  I did not look like a saw a ghost when one of my students said to me, "Mrs. Frericks, what does ejaculation mean?"

2.  I did not secretly kinda hope that my kids were ill enough for me to take a day off work.  (I needed a mental-health day)

3.  I did not laugh at Tyler as he tried walking through the snow for the first time.  The fact that he was wearing Kayden's old boots that are about 4 sizes too big didn't help the situation much =)

4.  I did not leave my  house in an absolute state of disaster multiple nights because I was just too exhausted to clean up all the toys before I went to bed.

All the things I did NOT do in the past week:
1. I did not watch Tyler drop his half-eaten apple on the ground outside, see the dirt on it, and then let him continue to eat it to avoid the fit he'd throw if I took it away.
2. I did not take out the train set I'd bought Kayden for Christmas, and let him play with it in order to keep him quiet/occupied while we met with our realtors.
3. I did not watch "Sister Wives" last night.
4. I did not think for half-a-second that my baby is growing too fast, and I'd like to have another one (that thought disappeared VERY quickly).
5. I did not hear Kayden say, "Fricken door!" when he couldn't get the basement door closed.
6. Kayden did not tell Mike to "just chill out" when he was telling him that he needed to finish his supper.
